He was predeceased by: his mother Lula Mae Shidal Cooper; and his siblings, Verna Lee Deal, Clifford Cooper, Darby Cooper, Mozelle Evans, Jack Cooper, Paul Cooper and Barbara Norton.
He is survived by: his father Rev. Clifton Cooper; his wife Jane Franklin Cooper; his daughters, Amy Cooper Walsh (Ed) of Nebo, Annette Cooper (Tammy) of Johnson City, TN. and Jennifer Cooper Fogarty (Patrick) of Taylors, SC.; his sister Ruth Cooper Radford (Don) of Nebo; and his grandchildren, Patrick Cooper Walsh M. D. (Britney Harper), Jonathan Walsh (Lovely Lo), Christopher Douglas Fogarty and Catherine Fogarty. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.
