He is survived by: his wife Diane Castro Walker; his daughters, Caroline W. Scott of Candler, NC and Tricia W. Chapman of Morganton, NC; his grandsons, Chandler Chapman of Raleigh, NC and Drew Scott of Asheville, NC; his sister Lynn W. Lozano (Tom) of Hoschton, GA; and his cousin Richard Jordan of Gastonia, NC.
