He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred G. Thomas and Nora Shelton Thomas; and his wife Nora Ann Baker Thomas. He is survived by: his children, Arlene Childers (Bill) and Johnafred Thomas (Gina); his grandchildren, Hal Robinson (Chrisi), Katherine Thomas and Sarah Vick (David); his great grandchild Carter Jones; and his siblings, Peggy Haywood (Richard), Elizabeth Cole and Donald Thomas (Dorothy).
