It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Farrell Edward Poteat (Morganton, North Carolina), who passed away on February 2, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Winston Poteat and Azliee Digh Poteat; and his wife Geldia Onadine Williams Poteat. He is survived by: his sons, Darren Poteat (Ann-Marie), Rondall Poteat and Jason Poteat (Valera); his grandchildren, Cody, Amber, Johnathon, Jerica and Benjamin Poteat; and his brother Steve Poteat. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
