It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Essie Hudson Morrow (Morganton, North Carolina), who passed away on October 24, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arrie Hudson and Barbara Lou Hoyle Hudson; her former husband L. Z. Worley; her husband James E. Morrow; her son Edward D. Worley; and her siblings, Arrie Esper "Pete" Hudson, Frank Hudson, Vernie Pruett, Marsol Ollis, Beulah Hudson and Carroll Hudson.
She is survived by: her son Charles Howard Worley; her stepsons, John Adam Morrow and Robert Morrow; her daughter-in-law Mary Sue Worley; her grandchildren, Jason Worley, Arrie H. Worley of Peggy Worley, P. J, Joanie Worley and Eddie Worley; her brothers, Wayne and Fred Hudson; and her pet Tinkey. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
