She was predeceased by: her parents, Milburn Gillette and Blanche Woody Gillette. She is survived by: her husband Charles Bridges of Sherrills Ford; her stepdaughter Tonya Prokupek (Steve) of Statesville, Three; her grandsons, Brandon Prokupek (Emma) of Hickory, Jeremy Prokupek (Megan) of Statesville and Jason Prokupek of Statesville; her great grandchildren, Isabelle Prokupek, Stella Prokupek and Baker Prokupek; her friend Norma Saunders Carney (Don); her siblings, Shirley McCall (Charles), Donald Gillette (Tina), Olin Gillette (Starla) and Clara Singleton (Mike); and her caregivers, Cynthia, Jessica, Sydney and Cassidy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Troutman Funeral Home (345 N Main St, Troutman, NC 28166). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Troutman Funeral Home Chapel (345 N Main St, Troutman, NC 28166). A burial was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at the Iredell Memorial Park (2304 Shelton Ave, Statesville, NC 28677).
