It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Caldwell Hipp (Morganton, North Carolina), who passed away on August 23, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Newton Caldwell and Edith Caldwell; her husband Walter N. Hipp, Jr. of Hickory, NC.; and her brother Dean Caldwell. She is survived by: her children, Mary Elizabeth Tyler (George) of Keystone Heights, FL and Michael Hipp (Julia) of Des Moines, IA; and her siblings, Marion Caldwell and Karen Kahill. She is also survived by three granddaughters; five great grandchildren.
