She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Hodges and Marylynn Hodges. She is survived by: her husband Gary King; her daughter Amber Dula (Brandon); her granddaughters, Harley Haas (Andrew) and Zoe Woods; her sister Jeanette Nichols; her stepmother Sherry Hodges; her stepson Brian King; and her stepgrandson Brandon King.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hartland Missionary Methodist Church (2556 Piney Rd, Morganton, NC 28655).
