He was predeceased by: his parents, Doyle Edward Kuykendall and Vera Benson Kuykendall; his daughter Karen LaVonne Kuykendall; his sister Gwen Neal; and his pet Sadie.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Ginn Kuykendall; his children, Teresa Owens (Wade, Sr.), Denise Hudson (Robert), Cassie Hartman (Craig) and Tracy Kuykendall; his grandchildren, Lauren Davis (Brandon), Sara Nixon (Barry), Cody Kuykendall, Josie Ferguson (Samuel), Tyler Hudson (Ashley), Jessica Hudson (Cody), Kirsten Carpenter (Erich) and Lucas Hartman; his great grandchildren, Madison, Ayden, Knox, Haley, Emma-Grace, Braxton, Travis and Harper; his siblings, Gail Ashley, Patricia Bryant, Barbara Martin (Frank), Clifford Kuykendall (Mildred) and Jerry Kuykendall (Jeanette); and his pet Molly. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
