He was predeceased by: his mothers, Sharlene Chapman Pruiett and Ruby Pruitt; his wife Peggy York Pruitt; and his siblings, Howard Pruitt, Bonnie Fredell, Dorothy Cook and Ella Lowman (Joey).
He is survived by: his siblings, Glenn Pruiett (Connie), Perry Pruitt (Angela), Michael Pruitt (Wendy), Alvin Pruitt (Patsy), Faye Hamby (Philip) and Brenda Dionne. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
