She was predeceased by: her husband James Hassel Brown; and her siblings, Homer Pearson, LaVern Pearson, LeNora Morgan, Venoia Dodson and Betty Flowers.
She is survived by: her children, Timothy Brown (Lydia) of Connelly Springs, Sandra Moon, Burnsville Brown and Mark Brown (Patsy) of Morganton; her grandchildren, Chasity Whisenant, Zachary Brown (Audry), Whitney Brown, Alyssa Moon, Rebekah Phillips and Jamison Moon; and her sisters, Gladys Pickelsimer of Newberry, SC, Edith Taylor of Hendersonville, NC and Wilma Black (Jim) of Morganton.
