He is survived by: his mother Ada Nadine Whisnant; his sons, Charles "Chuck" Whisnant, Jr. (Gretchen) and Brandon Whisnant (Shanda); his grandchildren, Jasmine Whisnant, Haylin Whisnant, Ava Whisnant and Braylee Whisnant; his brother Darrel Whisnant; and his pet Alex. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
