He was predeceased by: his sister Antoña Sapon. He is survived by: his parents, Nicolas Sapon Tzul and Maria Josefa Barreno Tohom; his wife Juana Tecla Tzul-Bulux; his daughters, Vanancia Sapon and Jennifer Sapon; his siblings-in-law, Marcos Tzul (Jennifer) and Maria Tzul (Agustin Hernandez); his niece Paola Pacheco; and his nephew Manuel Hernandez.
