With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Anthony Giovanni Castorio (Morganton, North Carolina), who passed away on April 2, 2022 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Felice Castorio and Lucia Castorio; his son Phillip Todd Castorio; his sister Maria Castorio Grosso; and his nephews, Daniel Fournier and Enzo Grosso.
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Roberts Castorio; his children, Antonietta Castorio Shorthouse, Michael Castorio and Maria Castorio Ballard (Brent); his grandchildren, Hannah Shorthouse, Jacob Shorthouse and Stephen Ballard; his great grandchild Emma Shorthouse; his sister Carmela Castorio Fournier; and his son-in-law Richard Shorthouse. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Amorem Hospice or to St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.
