It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alton William Washburn (Morganton, North Carolina), born in Holyoke, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 7, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Washburn and Fannie Washburn (Clements); and his wife Doris. He is survived by: his children, Susan Reider (Douglas) of Ontario, CA, Timothy Washburn (Darlene) of Aiken, SC and Mark Washburn (Jeanne) of Fletcher, NC; and his sister Mary Burt of Syracuse, NY. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter, and many nephews and nieces.
