He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Susan Holt Wainwright; his children, Stacey A. Wainwright and Cameron M. Wainwright of Morehead City, NC; his mother Katherine N. Wainwright of Beaufort, NC; his siblings, Georgette Pearce (David Pearce) of Winterville, NC and Kenneth Wainwright (Gina B. Wainwright) of Morehead City, NC; his cousin Todd Noe of Morehead City, NC; his father George Wainwright of Greenville, NC.; and his grandparents, William, Dollie Noe of Beaufort, Fraternal, Robert and Lossie Wainwright of Farmville, NC.. He was also cherished by several sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law, along with nieces, nephews and a great niece.
Kevin and his family were believers of protection from Covid, wearing masks whenever they went out among others and being respectful of others' health. Unfortunately, Covid has no rules by which it plays and Kevin was a victim of this terrible virus which eventually took his life.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to the Carteret County Schools Foundation with a designation solely for the ECHS Baseball Team.
