He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Letha Ryan of Morehead City, NC; his children, Emily Smith (Blake) of Charlotte, NC and Jordon Hughes (Sarah) of Deep Run, NC; his siblings, Bonnie Duprey (Mike) of Morehead City, NC and Gary Ryan of Broad Brook, CT; his nephew Gary Ryan Jr. of Morehead City, NC; his grandchildren, Rylie, Kate, Ophelia and Oliver; and his father William Russell Ryan Sr..
