She was predeceased by: her parents, John Robert Whitehurst and Mattie Silverthorne Whitehurst. She is survived by: her children, Bonnie Latham Rumbolo of Washington, Michelle Latham Jackson of Morehead City, Bonner Lee Latham, III of Pinetown and Shannon Wayne Latham (Tonya) of Washington; and her brothers, John Wayne Whitehurst, Jerome Whitehurst and Billy Jack Whitehurst. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren.
