She was predeceased by: her parents, William H. Becton and Melvina Griffin Becton; and her daughter Shannel Curtis. She is survived by: her daughter Kayla Curtis; her grandchildren, En'Jah Smith, Da'Kiyah Smith, Quintray Anderson and Quin'Naysha Anderson; her sister Tylena Becton; her nieces, Katrina Becton and Shanequa Becton; and her cousin Katrina Montague (Veblen). She is also survived by two grandnieces and two grandnephews.
