He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Oglesby and Verona Oglesby; his siblings, Jacquelyn Oglesby and Bobby Oglesby; his sister-in-law Dare Oglesby; his daughter Kim Brazelton; and his son-in-law Rocky Gentry.

He is survived by: his daughter Hope Oglesby Gentry; his grandchildren, Jeremy Brazelton (Kiki), Ashley Brazelton, Krista Boyette (Daniel) and Gunnar Gentry; and his great grandchildren, Nicholas Brazelton, Makayla Brazelton, Elizabeth Boyette and Hannah Boyette.
