He is survived by: his children, Ann Potter Stanley (Wayne) of Morehead City, NC and Thomas H. Potter, Jr. (Jan) of White Lake, NC; his wife Dorris Gillespie Potter; his grandchildren, Kimberly Davis (Scott) of Semora, NC, James "Chip" Langdale (Yasi) of Cary, NC, Emily Potter Garner of Chapel Hill, NC and Thomas H. Potter, III of Conway, SC; and his great grandchildren, Robert, Layla, Zoe and Meredith.
