She was predeceased by: her parents, James Maholm and Carrie Maholm; and her husband Makely Gordon Salter. She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Hardesty of Beaufort and Kathy Tripp (Charles) of Farmville, NC; her granddaughters, Savannah Carrie Winters Moore (Austin) of Mooresville, NC and Baileigh Marie Winters Johnson (Kevin) of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and her great grandchild Bennett Austin Moore of Mooresville, NC..
