She was predeceased by: her father Joseph T. Lewis; her grandparents, Jesse, Madeline Ewell, Captain Joseph and Angeline Lewis; and her stepfather James P. Edwards.
She is survived by: her sisters, Josie Lewis Leary (Tom) of The Woodlands, TX and Jessica Edwards Small (Ron) of Greensboro, NC; her son John W. Kittrell Jr. of Wilmington; and her granddaughter Ashley Kittrell of Indiana. She is also survived by several cousins, nephews and nieces.
