She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. William Carroll and Marian Carroll; and her siblings, Gloria Daley and Billy Carroll. She is survived by: her husband Bandy Herman of Morehead City, NC; her daughter Katherine Herman (Kate) of New York, NY; and her siblings, Linda Matthews of Wilmington, NC, Bob Carroll of Baltimore, MD, Karen Crawley of Kinston, NC and Patty Paramore of Greenville, NC. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
