He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeanie Mitchell and Harold Mitchell; and his stepdaughter Maria M. Jenkinson. He is survived by: his wife Vye; his granddaughter Tabitha M. Jenkinson of Morehead City; his brother Robert Mitchell of Fairhaven, MA; and his sister-in-law Anita Helms (Marcia Mitchell) of Hendersonville, NC.
