He was predeceased by: his parents, James Cleveland "J. C." Keeter and Rebecca Ann Gibson Keeter; his significant other Verna Marie Patterson Keeter; his son Robert Bruce Keeter, Jr.; his brother Joe Keeter; his mother-in-law Wyona Patterson; his brothers-in-law, Jimmy Hall, Doug Faircloth and Charles Adams; and his pet Fancy.
He is survived by: his daughter Cristina Keeter (Becky) of Morehead City; his siblings, Regina Hall of Morehead City, Kathy Lowery of Morehead City, Kim Faircloth of Morehead City, Jim Keeter of Havelock and Charles Keeter (Phyllis) of Havelock; his grandson Dylan James Livingston-Keeter; his brother-in-law Bob Lowery of Cape Carteret; his nieces and nephews, Shelton Hall (Mary) of Mill Creek, Ann Cannon (Adam) of Morehead City, Kelly Keeter of Greenville, Lindsay Sackett (Nathan) of Beaufort, Josh Keeter (Kristin) of Morehead City, Matthew Trapp (Megan) of Vass, NC, Miles Trapp (Ashley) of Morehead City, Faith Lowery of Morehead City, Aubrey Keeter of Havelock, Candace Keeter, Amber Reels of Beaufort, Katherine, Molly and Nancy Adams of New Bern; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jarrett Hall, Noah, Jonah Cannon, Lilah, Finn Sackett, Ayden, Grayson Keeter, Colin, Camerain Allen, Ashlyn Trapp, Trey Barbour, Mason, Maddox Trapp, Payton Keeter of Saniah, JJ, Jade Reels and Brianna Keeter; his cousin Charles Gibson Jr. (Rose) of Hope Mills, NC; and also, Christopher Gibson (Krista), Matthew, Jordan, Nicholas Gibson (Monica), Payton, Bristol, Heather Zaragoza (Ricardo) and Bella.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Glad Tidings Church (4621 Country Club Rd, Morehead City, NC 28557). A memorial service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
