He was predeceased by: his wife Gwendolyn Horton Baker; his parents, Howard Fulton and Lillar Allen Baker; and his brothers, Harold Lee Baker and Tommy Eugene Baker.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Alan Baker (Yvette) of Harkers Island and Darla Baker Vick (Temple) of Beaufort; his sisters, Wanda Baker Long (Charles) of Garner and Brenda Baker Kennerly (John) of Micro, Texas; his grandchildren, Christopher Baker (Jessica), Nicholas Baker (Bonnie), Ashley Ensminger (Landon) and Melissa Mason (Justin); and his great grandchildren, Karlyn Elizabeth Ensminger, Camdyn Alexis Ensminger, Luke Alan Baker, Bryce Henry Baker and Nathaniel Leonard Baker. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
