He was predeceased by: his parents, Faris Ferguson and Carrie Ferguson (Rathburn); his brothers, Sydney, John, Wayne, Buddy and Jimmy; and his son-in-law Kenneth Mitchell.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Ferguson of Morehead City, NC; his children, Carrie Cavin (Richard) of Hampton, VA, Robert Ferguson of Hampton, VA, Kenneth Ferguson (Marissa) of Hampton, VA and Bonnie Mitchell of Hampton, VA; his grandchildren, Kristin Mason (Cody), Deborah Cavin, Shealon Ferguson (Zack Heath), Rebecca Cavin, Lee Ferguson, Nate Mitchell, Christopher Cavin, Luke Mitchell, Sky and Christopher Hinson; his great grandchildren, Henry, Nora Mason, Rylon and Marlow Heath; his nephew JJ Ferguson; and his niece Joanne Flanigan.
