With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Blake Benton (Morehead City, North Carolina), born in Taylorsville, North Carolina, who passed away on September 2, 2020 at the age of 68. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Benton and Blanche Campbell; and his brothers, Douglas Benton, Adrian Benton and George.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Keller Benton; his children, Tracey Sheppard (Travis) of Macon, GA, Bethany Price (Hunter) of Gordon, GA, Dan Benton (Nancy) of Cleveland, TN and Matthew Benton (Jhenna) of Hartwell, GA; his siblings, Kay Benton of Taylorsville, NC and Warren Benton of Statesville, NC; his grandchildren, Patrick Benton, Celeste Duke, Noah Price, Chase Stockwell and Blaire Benton; and his great grandchildren, Ana Benton, Jace Duke and Brett Duke.
