It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rebecca Smith of Morehead City, North Carolina, born in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, who passed away on February 17, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Johnson and Birdie Johnson; and her brothers, Richard and Forest Johnson. She is survived by: her son Jeff Smith (Kelly) of Havelock; her siblings, Doris Wiggins (Johnny) of North Carolina, Joyce Shearin (Don) of Tennessee, Marie Warren (Dan) of North Carolina and Bobby Johnson (Debbie) of North Carolina; and her grandchildren, Mike Guthrie (Alana), Jennifer James (Jay) and Brad Guthrie (Jessica). She is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews, along with great nieces and nephews.
