It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Queenie Gilmore of Morehead City, North Carolina, who passed away on June 30, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Teel and Annie Mae Teel; and her siblings, Mary Ann Morris and Valerian "Turk" Teel. She is survived by: her husband Benjamin Gilmore Sr.; her children, Selina Gilmore Montford (Duane) and Benjamin Gilmore Jr.; her siblings, Gloria Neusch, Roy Teel Jr., Wallace Teel, Melvin Teel, Ella Teel and Willie Teel; her grandchildren, Marcus Gilmore, Alexcia Jones, Jeremiah Hargrove and Brikinna Gilmore; and her great grandchildren, Jonas Reign Gilmore, Saphyra Reign Montford, Amariah Joelle Gilmore and Jada Balken. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
