We are sad to announce that on April 19, 2024, at the age of 82, Preston Earl Murdoch of Morehead City, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Murdoch and Elsie Murdoch; and his siblings, Myra Johnston, David Murdoch and Bert Murdoch.
He is survived by: his significant other Anita Smith Murdoch; his children, Jeffrey H. Murdoch (Susan) of Smithfield, VA and Louise Brake-Baker (Steve) of Smithfield, VA; and his grandchildren, Clayton Murdoch (Becky), Jamie Mintz Sharon (Pete), Jason Brake (Meagan) and Rusty Brake (Tiffany).
