The memory of Nora Stevens (Morehead City, North Carolina), who passed away on October 28, 2024 at the age of 97, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Millard Fillmore Wood and Lydia Jane Eason Wood; her son Roy A. Stevens, Jr.; her husband Roy A. Stevens, Sr.; and her son-in-law Marvin Willis, Jr..
She is survived by: her daughter Gloria S. Willis of Morehead City; her daughter-in-law Karen C. Stevens of Richlands; her grandchildren, Jennifer Stevens of Raleigh, James Stevens of Richlands, Marvin Willis (Erica) of Newport, Kathryn Smith (Eric) of New Bern and Kim Borie (Mark) of Cape Carteret; and her sister Iva Stone of Coats. She is also survived by five greatgrandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Free Will Baptist Church (912 Bridges St, Morehead City, NC 28557). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
