He is survived by: his wife Nellie "Deanie" Jones; his daughter Teresa Jones of Morehead City; his stepchildren, Dawn Adams of Morehead City and Sean Adams (Carmela) of Burlington; and his granddaughter Chelsea Nelson of Morehead City. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and one uncle.
