It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Fred Mayo of Morehead City, North Carolina, who passed away on January 20, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Fenner Mayo; his wife Dr. Alice Anderson; and his sister Barbara Cooper. He is survived by: his children, Alicia Mayo of Morehead City, NC and Christopher Michael Mayo of Happy Valley, NC; his stepsons, Dr. Colin Anderson-Evans of California and Eliot Anderson-Evans of California; his sister Beth Garner of Morehead City; and his brother-in-law Garth Cooper of Morehead City. He is also survived by several loving nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
