We are sad to announce that on March 24, 2023, at the age of 98, Mattie Gray of Morehead City, North Carolina, born in Goldsboro, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Norbert Edgerton. She is survived by: her children, Teresa Marshburn (Horace) of Wallace, NC, Ronald Gray (Karen) of Earlysville, VA and Frank Gray (Mary) of Newport, NC; her sister Bessie Tucker of Beaufort; and her grandchildren, Mark Marshburn (Stacy), Michael Marshburn (Melissa), Evan Gray, Ian Gray (Paige) and Kelly Gray. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
