She was predeceased by: her parents, Tetsuji Kawai and Chiyoko Kawai; her husband Anthony Frigenti; her son Joseph Frigenti; and her siblings, Shigeko Kawai and Keilchi Kawai.
She is survived by: her daughter Carmen Reid of Morehead City; her sister Hiroko Kawai of Japan; her grandchildren, Donald Francis "DJ" Reid Jr., Beth Marie Reid and Kitty Frigenti; and her great grandchildren, Corbett Reid, Lillian Francis Fowler and Arielle Brinson.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be made to the Carteret County Humane Society.
