Margaret Blake Sewell Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret Blake Sewell of Morehead City, North Carolina, who passed away on February 8, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kate Blake and Turner Blake; her husband W. V. Sewell (Bill); her son Byron Sewell; and her sister Colleen Blake Brown of Greensboro, NC.
She is survived by: her children, Teresa Rice (Greg) of Morehead City, NC and Billy Sewell, Jr. of Kernersville, NC; and her grandsons, Jon Rice (Ashley) of Durham, NC, Joe Sewell of Wilmington, NC and Jeff Sewell (Vivian) of Southport, NC. She is also survived by several great grandchildren, nieces & nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Forbis & Dick Funeral Service - North Elm Chapel (1118 N Elm St, Greensboro, NC 27401). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
