Lonnie P. Henderson Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lonnie P. Henderson of Morehead City, North Carolina, born in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, who passed away on December 10, 2022 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father John Henderson; and his siblings, Lila Mae Barrett, Doris Rae Sharp, J. B. Henderson and Vernon Henderson.

He is survived by: his wife Elma Henderson; his daughters, Renee Henderson (Gary Smith) of Wildwood and LaVonne Jones (Johnny) of Wildwood; and his grandson Jonathan Byron-Paul Jones (Emily).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Department of Veteran Services, 965 Roberts Dr, Gastonia, NC 28054.
