It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Golden Murphy of Morehead City, North Carolina, who passed away on November 9, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Golden and Geneva Golden; and her sister Cindy Bell. She is survived by: her aunt Lovie; her husband Terrance J. Murphy; her daughter Sara Murphy Simtaji (Bahati) of Winston-Salem, NC; her grandsons, Harrison, Elijah and Christian Simtaji of Winston-Salem; her brothers, James Golden, Jr. of Otway, NC and Kenneth Golden of Florida; her brother-in-law Bruce Bell of Newport, NC; and her niece Tammy Bell of Lenoir, NC.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Munden Funeral Home & Crematory (2112 Arendell St, Morehead City, NC 28557).
