He is survived by: his parents, Erline Winfree and Herman Winfree; his sons, Landon and Lucas Winfree of Benson, NC; and his siblings, Tyra Paschal (Jerry), Beverly Banaszak (Jack) and Charles Herman "Chuck" Winfree of Greensboro, NC. He is also survived by six nieces, a nephew, two aunts, an uncle, and many cousins.
