He was predeceased by: his father Samuel Hodges. He is survived by: his sister Cathy H. Gainey (George Lott) of Morehead City; his nieces, Kristin G. Ferree (David) of Morehead City and Ashley G.; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Carter Ferree, Caroline Ferree, Westin Narron and Charlotte Narron.
