He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles William Stewart and Shirley Stewart of Virginia; his wife Mamie Stewart; and his brother Bill. He is survived by: his children, Deborah Abbot of Pittsburgh, PA, Jeanette Cross of Delaware and John "Jack" Stewart Jr. of Pittsburgh, PA; and his siblings, Barbara, Robert, Peggy, Jimmy, Vernon, Larry and Wayne. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
