She was predeceased by: her parents, James Hester and Katherine Hester; her husband Delmus Green; her son Eric Martin Green; and her brother James Hester.
She is survived by: her children, Maria Green Allen (Orlando) of Fayetteville, GA, Constance Yelverton (Roger) of Wake Forest, NC, Jewell Green Watkins of College Park, GA, Arlene Green Smith of Texas and Delmus L. Green (Olinda) of New Bern, NC; and her brothers, Osborne Hester of Manteo, NC and Ulrich Hester of Florida. She is also survived by 31 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
In keeping with the CDC guidelines pertaining to the Coronavirus, those who are ill or at-risk (elderly, immune-compromised) are encouraged to stay home.
