She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Harrell and Gladys Harrell; her husband Dr. Mance R. Cason; her siblings, Gwen Waters, Linda Futch, Donald Harrell and Elton Harrell; and her great grandchild Landen Johnson.
She is survived by: her sons, Rick Cason (Debbie) of Glennville, GA and Reuben Cason (Terry) of Bailey, NC; her sister-in-law Patsy Harrell of Glennville, GA; and her grandchildren, Amanda Johnson (Luke), Blake Cason (Whitney), Heather Huff (Jonathan) and Daniel Cason (Camille).
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Munden Funeral Home & Crematory (2112 Arendell St, Morehead City, NC 28557). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at the Gethsemane Memorial Park (700 NC-24, Newport, NC 28570).
