He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lupton and Lillian Lupton. He is survived by: his wife Terry Lupton; his daughter Christina Lupton of Morehead City; his sister Patricia L. Gilgo (Lionel) of Beaufort; his grandchildren, Anthony James Graiba, Cameron Andrews of Hubert and Skylar Andrews of Hubert; his niece Barbara Giglo Hoppe (Rick) of Wilmington; his nephew Michael K. Gilgo (Dora) of Wilmington; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Emily Lauren Hoppe, Brandi Smith, Mackenzie Lewis, Richard Allen Hoppe, Matthew Solomon Gilgo, Nathaniel James Gilgo and Noah Joel Gilgo; and his close friends, Anthony Willis, JoAnne Willis, Robert and Sheila Salter.
