She was predeceased by: her father Guy Waters; her siblings, Dorothy Gentry and Randy Waters; and her mother Mae Waters Gardner. She is survived by: her husband Gus L Davis Jr.; her son Gus L Davis III; her grandsons, Tyler and Cooper Davis; her daughters-in-law, Tina Davis, Yorkie and Caesar; her sisters, Rachel Waters Craddock of Jamesville and Helen Waters Bass of Jamesville; and her siblings-in-law, Louis James "Buddy" Davis (Pat), William John "Johnny" Davis (Kathy) and Mary Davis (late Peter Davis). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made in her honor to West Carteret High School.
