We are sad to announce that on July 11, 2024, at the age of 27, Hayley Gillian Hannel of Morehead City, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Helen Staley, Richard Smith and Maurice "Mike" Washburne. She is survived by: her parents, Rick Hannel and Laura Hannel of Morehead City; her siblings, Lindsay van Zyl (Bruce) of Franklin, TN, Tyler Hannel (Nicole) of Norcross, GA, Savannah Fifer (Brennan) of Cedar City, UT and Cory Hannel (Tayleen) of Tucker, GA; her nieces and nephews, Evangeline, Natalie Hannel, Hannah van Zyl, Caleb and Archer Fifer; her grandmothers, Claudia Smith of Morehead City and Donna Washburne of Marietta, GA; her uncles, John (Gaye Washburne), Jeremy (Bethany Smith), Josh (Jessica Smith) and Robert Hannel of Rockford, IL; and her aunt Amy (Shaun Toms). She is also survived by eleven cousins.
