Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Harold Lail of Morehead City, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away at the age of 83, on December 15, 2021. He was predeceased by: his son Harold Hugh Lail Jr.; his parents, James Lail and Lona Lail; and his siblings, Winfred Lail, Ruby Lail and Myrtle Hyatt.
He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Johnson Lail (Becky); his children, Jennifer Medlin (Jeff) of New Bern and Matt Lail (Charity) of Raleigh; and his grandchildren, Meredith Hardeman (Ross) of New Bern, Allyson Medlin of Asheville, Siena, Britain and Roman Lail of Raleigh.
Because of that, in lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in his memory be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Heart Association.
