He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Harrell and Flossie Harrell; his stepmother Kathleen Harrell; and his brothers, Kenneth Harrell and Charles Harrell.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne Harrell; his sons, Dr. Travis Harrell (Roopa) of Washington, DC and Jason Harrell (Pearson) of New Orleans, LA; his grandchildren, William Harrell and Hayes Harrell; his siblings, Donald Harrell and Wanda Smith; and his cousin Nancy Adams.
